There was an increase in the discouragement of bullying in treatment schools, compared with comparison schools. This difference was statistically significant.
Witnessed Aggression
There was a decrease in students witnessing aggression in treatment schools, compared with comparison schools. This difference was statistically significant.
Physical Aggression Perpetration
Menard and Grotpeter (2013) found that physical aggression perpetration was lower in treatment schools that participated in Bully-Proofing Your School (BPYS), compared with comparison schools, over the course of the intervention. This difference was statistically significant.
Relational Aggression Perpetration
Relational aggression perpetration was lower in schools with the BPYS intervention, compared with comparison schools. This difference was statistically significant.
Perceived School Safety
Perceptions of safety were higher in BPYS treatment schools, compared with comparison schools. This difference was statistically significant.
Physical Aggression Victimization
Physical aggression victimization was lower in BPYS treatment schools, compared with comparison schools. This difference was statistically significant.
Relational Aggression Victimization
Relational aggression victimization was lower among students in treatment schools, compared with comparison schools. This difference was statistically significant.
